In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. You will work within a professional environment, providing excellent customer service through accurate diagnostics and efficient repairs, whilst adhering to health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong automotive background, proving their ability to handle technical inspections and repairs with precision and reliability. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, replacing faulty parts, performing routine maintenance, and communicating effectively with colleagues and customers about issues and repairs.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (NVQ or equivalent) are preferred
- Ability to diagnose and repair a range of vehicle issues accurately
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A valid UK driving licence
